reusing an empty plastic bottle

Stick small cuttings in some water in the bottle, and let it develop roots so you later on, can plant it in pot with some earth. And it will only take a few days before you have a free plant in your window

Use as a watering system for your potted plants. Garden centers sell little terra cotta or plastic spikes that fit the bottle's neck. Once filled with water, one places the spike and bottle upside-down into the soil of the pot. It will replenish the moisture in the soil on an as-needed basis. Two-liter plastic bottles can be used exactly the same way:)

Give them to a local school having a fete. They set up a stall with your own wine bottles and crocery and people throw balls at the crocery and try to smash it. (Always the most popular stall at my school fete.) We used to put all the bottles and crockery in an old cupboard

tie wine bottles with strings or wires from the ceiling/ from a tree and fasten a piece of wood right in the middle. when the wind blows it makes for a fine wind chime. cheap and easy to make.

I would tile the ceiling of a wine shop with empty bottles and put interesting spot lights between them..
