We need to refuse in big numbers to use things like oil. We have to demand, as a market whole, renewable sources of energy. We need to find the value in saving energy, and recycling. Start an online campaign. That's the cheapest and furthest reaching strategy. Spread it first by friends and ask people to pass it on. If it has valuable information, it will spread. I think most people don't know how to use renewable energy sources in their every day lives. If you create the awareness of the options available and why they are better, more people will use them

Ask corporations to get involved in spreading the word and getting PR leverage out of it

Organize events in schools, churches and libraries where you show a case-study or some kind of demonstration of why the renewable energy source is better, cheaper, more sustainable for everyone.
