u _have_ to find a very good environment...including coach...most likely place would be a premiere club team in your area...not always easy to find...sometimes a premiere high school can work....look at the entire pool of national team players for the U.S. right now - find out where all of them went to high school and college and what club teams they played for from the time they were in 7th grade. then get on one of those teams. of course, you'll have to work hard, but that's not enough. you need to hook up with other premiere coaches/players/etc., or else it'll never happen.

Find a mentor who has been a pro soccer player in the past... just email all of them that you can find and I'm sure one will respond

Play in school matches, then in regional matches, then in league matches, then go to state level and finally national and international level
