| About Me: | Richard’s working background is broad and includes roles as divisional business manager of Emergency and Peri-operative Medicine with the Department of Health’s Southern Adelaide Health Services, Financial analyst and Managing Director with Hi-Tech Innovations. Prior to this Richard held a range of roles including marketing manager for a medium sized IT reseller, Business Analyst and Research Analyst for a national NGO and Recruitment & Training manager for a medium sized Telco reseller. Richard’s early career consisted of sales and sales management roles with the Hilton International Hotel, Telstra and Optus. Academically, Richard’s background is in finance, IT, management, entrepreneurship and innovation. Regarding his background in finance, Richard holds a commerce degree majoring in accounting from the University of South Australia and is an associate member of the Institute of Certified Practising Accountants. From an IT perspective, Richard holds a degree in Management Information systems and is senior member of the Australian Computer Society. He also holds Masters qualifications in Innovation and entrepreneurship from the University of Adelaide. Richard is currently completing an MBA and Master of Project Management at the University of South Australia’s International Graduate School of Business. Professionally, Richard is a CPMgr and an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management as well as health sector member with the CEO Institute. |
