Email Brainstorm Ideas
Invite people to add ideas to this brainstorm
Invest 5lakhs and get 50k everymonth legally, for more info mail your contact details to email@example.com
people who get the most of the vote for their ideas should be highlighted in sidebar as well as in the post their idea should be at the top. http://www.revolutioners.com
I'd like to see a big button/badge on the front page that says "Create new brainstorm now" so that new users (and established ones, for that matter) can quickly start a brainstorm.
I'd like to be able to look at my "recent public ideas" list on my profile and see how many votes each has received
Option to order a challenge's ideas by votes received
Have Brainstorming Competetions: A selected amount of people will compete in a competetion. People will compete with one another. The person that gains the most votes wins in the end. BrainReactions.net will provide the brainstorm questions to work with. This idea would make coming up with ideas as a game to compete with other people.
Have a "WIDGET" people can download, which people can put on their desktop and use to brainstorm ideas from their desktop. This would be a nice feature for lazy folks that don't like to brainstorm through a browser on the internet.
Have a "prompter" button: when you click the button you are asked questions such as "How could you reword the problem?" and "What does the random word (x) suggest?"
Its the problem of the site creator . just dont pleade for ideas come up with one yourself and then let others judge that.
For idea 141: The visual brainstorm representation could have a keyword which are connected. Details can be added to each keyword, which can be seen on hovering on the keyword.
Have a visual way of representing the brainstorming...
Arrange a live brainstorm that starts from nothing: with no (initial) direction we can use our creativity to find a worthy challenge
For idea 138: have a feature showing who else is online, so that you can discuss the brainstorm and ideas
Have a live, anonymous "chat room" on each brainstorm to encourage thought experiments and "wacky" ideas
It's possible to add YouTube videos to blogs. It would be great if we could also post BrainReactions brainstorms to our blogs. Any updates on our blogs would also occur on the main brainstorm.
Create a logo for the brainstorming tool that we can add as a link to our blogs and websites.
There are many ideas sites on the internet such as Global Ideas Bank or Idea-a-day. It would be useful if there were a site that listed ALL the ideas from those sites and more. Maybe BrainReactions could start this service?
Create an area for users to post good ideas they've seen -- a "here's a great idea I saw today" area.
Have an option to subscribe to your favourite brainstorms, so that when you look at your account page you see a list of your favourites.
Why not have some interviews with creativity experts and creative people? An interview date could be set and before then we could, in a challenge, prepare some questions we'd like to ask.
Does the presence of a voting system inhibit the adding of outlandish thought experiments and "wacky" ideas? Maybe when we add ideas we could be given the option to have the idea displayed without a voting box? Or votes could be given for "zanyness" of thought experiments?
BrainReactions logo at top left of each page could link to either BrainReaction's homepage or the homepage of the Brainstorming Tool.
It would be nice to be able to search on the homepage and also create new brainstorms on the homepage.
On the homepage have a "Who's online now?" box with a "chat room" so that we can do live brainstorms (or have discussions) at any time.
Option to add new information to the description of a brainstorm you've started
Preview button for when posting a new brainstorm
A week and a month after a live brainstorm, email all participants with an update featuring all ideas to date, to see if any new ideas have occured to participants since the original brainstorm.
Organise another live brainstorm, but this time choose a "sleeper" challenge from this site -- one that has received few answers and hasn't been active for a while. It could add to the challenge if the question were one that wouldn't be recognised as a "traditional" brainstorming challenge (just to test our creativity!)
Categorize brainstorms i.e. new ideas for companies, business problems, new inventions, solving world problems, technology brainstorms etc.
E mail all account holders to tell them about live brainstorm time and date
Have a yearly "super project": this project would start out from the blank-page stage and set out to create a new product/service and then go on to actualise the idea. Different brainstorms could be created during the idea's "journey".
In addition to sorting by "Most Recent", "Most Ideas" and "Recent Activity", sort by "Most Recently Rated" to pinpoint new ratings.
"Borrow" questions from Yahoo! Answers if the brainstorming tool is having a quiet spell.
Have an area for general discussions where contributors can post good links, favourite books about creativity and favourite idea generation techniques.
Have an option to use bold, italic or underline when making any post.
To get more votes: ask people to vote for an idea when they add a new idea. The idea could be chosen at random.
Find someone to translate the brainstorms posted in foreign languages.
I've noticed that some brainstorm originators haven't been active for a while. A month after someone has set a challenge they could be sent an update email that includes all the suggestions about their challenge to date.
Two different votes could be shown: votes by the brainstorm originator and votes by everyone else. (Perhaps the brainstorm originator could have an option to give marks out of ten.)
A larger "new idea" box. I keep posting ideas then spotting an error that isn't as easy to spot in a smaller box.
Create a list of contributors, with links to their websites and blogs.
Have a "success stories" area where people can report on positive outcomes resulting from Brainstorming suggestions and ideas.
Sometimes a brainstorming challenge is posted and I would like to ask the challenge-setter more questions about their problem. It would be useful to have this facility. The answers could be posted in a different colour from the normal suggestions.
Brainstorm for ideas about specific websites and forward these ideas to the sites. Eg: "How could we improve the IMDB? (Internet Movie Database)" etc.
Every month, approach a guest to provide a brainstorm topic. These guests could be writers, bloggers, consultants or someone in the public eye.
Have an "options box" on each brainstorm which aims to attract different kinds of suggestions and ideas. The possibilities include: most outrageous suggestions. Ideas/possibilities if money were no object. Ideas/possibilities that would cost very little. Also there could be an option to reword the original topic or suggest different tangents. For example: "How could we regularly attract new people to the brainstorming tool?" etc. There could also be anonymous comments.
Option to receive an email when a new idea is added to a brainstorm you started. Option to receive an email when one of your suggestions is rated.
Arrange a weekly time when - perhaps for an hour - contributors could meet up in a chat room for a live brainstorm and discussion.
Give the brainstorm originator the opportunity to comment on ideas or add new thoughts. These comments could be marked in a different colour from the suggestions.
Send out a weekly update email: "This week's new brainstorm challenges on BR".
Occasionally bring random brainstorms to "the top" so that they're on the home page and thus don't "die".
Put this challenge "How can we improve this online brainstorming service?" permanently on the front page so that it's the first brainstorm that visitors see.
sort by number of good ranking the ideas get
by creating a new question allow users which want to share the answers, that additional answers can make without login (may be shown after a check-looking by the creator)
mark questions, which are active in the last month
Missing the search function, which I have used to scan for older questions in my language to supplement new ideas of answers
Option to see brainstorms with recent additions at the top

jup Ö Ä Ü ö ä ü ß
use of UNICODE characters for foreign symbols

It's very important to NOT delete foolish answers - that a very important part of brainstorming. One guy says something stupid -> I get an idea from that...

Some kind of way to get your name on the question (owner) og name on pin (contributor) This will make it possible for the owner to ask for more info from the contributors.
Some kind of boundries - creativity schrives within rules.
Some kind of help for people to create the perfekt brainstorm - there is more to a brainstorm than the question. You sometimes need to set the scene to get the right contributions.
Some kind of categories to put the brainstoms into.
allow to be rated by humour, usefulness, and popularity. allow for bookmarking. keep it anonymous, and keep it simple
Allow visitors to rank each suggestion instantly by a 1 to 10 rating system next to each suggestion. Visitors could click on the number to rate the suggestion. An 11th box would show the overall rating.
keep it simple, and use better fonts!
add ability to include links
how about a link to add comments on what you are doing good?
option to add comments/additions to posted ideas
the really popular ideas could be mind mapped
Add carma to each brainstorm user. Ideas of users with big amount of high-ranked ideas must be more visible than other's ideas...
