You park on a car-sized platform with casters under it. Then the lot attendant pushes your car away into densely packed rows of cars (no need to leave room to open the doors). When you get to the checkout at the grocery store for example, you text a message or type a code into a console to let the attendants know you are coming. they get your car out and roll it to the front door so it is waiting for you. Less square footage required - lower costs and environmental impact. Great service too!

Parking spots are open spaces which can be utilized to install solar arrays/ solar collecting plates under which cars can be parked. Bioreactors utilize sunlight for co2 capture and conversion, so these would be useful too. But the best way would be to make the lot vertical and limit the total land used.

Create a competition so that all the parking lots within an area compete to find out which wins the award "most paradisal in the area".

Have a super-cooled room where drivers can go to cool down quickly. If the parking facilities are near a shopping area then offer the service to shoppers too.

At least have chia pets in normal parking lots to add life :)
