AND how to frame the psychometric tests
alk-ins or recruitment drives that are massive in scale.Then the candidates with the required scores can be asked to sit for an interview which can ensure that passing the psychometric test was not a fluke.
Since this is a psychometric tests,the answers cannot be googled or searched from any textbook.They have to be purely based on the personality of the candidate.This test can be e-mailed to the prospective candidates thereby saving the cost of organizing..
If the candidate is good enough to pass this recruitment test,then he is surely good enough to be trained on any technology that the company wants him to be in....
the candidate can really be tested in situations that do not lie in his or her comfort zone.
Rolling out an intelligently framed psychometric test that judges the candidates' creativity,motivation,leadership skills and tells you how innovative they are etc. can be a much better option.In a test like this where there is not right or wrong answer ,

go to a open lecture at university and observe the students. Hire those with the most interesting questions.
