How to increase consumer satisfaction & repeat visits in the hospitality industry?

I am mainly looking for strong ideas for Hotels and Restaurants to insure consumer or guest satisfaction and increase repeat visits.

Total focused attention on the consumer, regardless of the type of interaction. When you're dealing with a client, regardless the situation, they are your only focus... not your cell phone, your co-worker, other guests. Maintain eye contact. Always be courteous and respectful. Speak in complete sentences, free of slang and euphemisms. If you must unavoidably excuse yourself, do so politely and assure them you'll be right back as quickly as possible... don't rush off mid sentence.

Explain about the recipe, taste when they order. Few peoples are very interested in cooking, share the recipes through your own cooking book. Open a small helpdesk to help them for the same. Share the information of health oriented what is special in this food. Print this information on your menu in front of food item. example Sweet Lemon -Vitamin C and what they do effect in our body.

In later stage, if they want the ingredients for particular food item, prepare the box Print and deliver at their home. To increase crowd at your hotel , sponsor some Cooking contest at your place. Cooking days – Teach cooking to your customers free. Recognize the best cook. And if you like my idea do not forget to invite me at your hotel / Restaurant. ( hahahah...)

Well in order to achieve this, every part of your offering must be at a level which gains confidence and ease for the customer. That might range from the food in the Restaurant, to the sheets, to the shampoo provided, to the attitude and approach for handling your target customers by employees. If all areas within the establishments are at a reasonable quality level, a consumer should not have anything to complain about and want to return.
