Get off your computer meet people in real life. Ask them if they have a facebook then add them when your on your computer

Make up some surveys - the "getting to know you" type that asks a number of questions ranging from those asking for key information (age, rough location, education) to the more outlandish (worst fears, what monster you'd like to be, who you'd like to be stuck in a lift with). Attach your name to the survey and as it spreads over Facebook people will find you. Also, the information that YOU give on the survey will help people to find out more about you.

Sit down one day and make an exhaustive list of absolutely EVERYTHING that interests you or has ever interested you. Songs, people, hobbies, aspirations, fears etc. Post this information on Facebook. The more information the better - more 'hooks' for like-minded people to find you.
