Awareness of online activities - what types of info/services are out there that could benefit a company and an awareness that what is said online is often permanent (which could be an asset or liability to a company). For instance, blogs could be searched for comments made about a company, products, customers, or even suppliers. This can be used to send a congrat email to a customer when they appear in the news. Also, people need to be aware that people read their comments and profiles.
