Most importantly, in my opinion, is to make people feel welcome. Give them free internet access--nothing annoys people more than paying for a nice hotel and then being forced to pay out another $10-20 for internet access. That always says two things about the hotel: 1. We're out of date (even McDonalds offers free internet) and 2. It's important to us to squeeze every single penny we can out of our customers.
