Google "learning styles"....let the kids take the tests and find out their own personal and natural learning style....then assist them in creating projects OF THEIR OWN CHOICE ...formated to fit their own learning style!

I had a great business class called the product development project. we designed products for companies that mentored us. every week different professionals in different field talked to us about their jobs. in the end we mad e a prototype and a business plan and presented it to our peers and the company

Create businesses in the classroom made up of different teams and require the students to utilize each others' businesses and circulate "money" within the classroom. At the end see which businesses have the most money and discuss what makes a successful business (i.e. providing a need, advertising effectively, competitive pricing, etc.).

Pairing local businesses and teens would help teens to gain hands-on experience in the dynamics of business. Furthermore, interviews and informal sessions conducted by teens would help them appreciate the pains and gains of businesses.

Get across the point that a young achiever is not very different from the average teen. Instead focus on how certain small habits and practices that any teen/person can do, that would help them achieve such high standards.
