Does life have an objective meaning? Why?

Objective means OUTSIDE of your personal perspective. So while "I" may have a meaning that I arbitrarily ASSIGN to life, that meaning is not objective - it does not exist beyond me.

There is no objective meaning, only subjective ones. Friends, family, love, creativity etc... The universe, the earth, humans are all random events with no intelligence behind it.

The intersection of spirituality and science. I believe that objective meaning is a collection of waveforms, an energy cloud that may someday be measureable. A living cloud, an organism to which a part of your self-energy is bound physically and metaphysically. This persistent and shared waveform of energy and light can be witnessed collectively and individually. Yet you needn't be aware of your meaning cloud's zip code to be part of its energy.

Objectivity cannot exist. Language is a virus! I agree with DottoreNova, since language is the construction and limitation to thought and memory of experiences, this question really cannot be "answered".

Everyday gives new meaning. As to why the Big Bang, maybe it's beyond us. Or maybe it's a kind of universal evolution.

We have a perspective that limits what we experience. The biggest limitation is language. We think in a language and that is a big limit to the comprehension of what surrounds us. Depending on your language and the culture surrounding your language we have different limitations. Therefore your question cannot be answered.
